/oper username pass - become irc operator
/quote ojoin @#nmglug - give yourself ops
/quote kline [minutes] nickname - bans user off the server, for amount of minutes, or until unklined
/quote unkline nickname - un-kills user

/nick newnick - change nick name
/op nickname - give "username" channel operator status
/kick nickname - removes from channel
/ban - bans from channel
/kill - drops them from irc server


/whois - returns hostmask, real-name, channels they are in, server they used to connect.

/mode +npst
+n must be inside channel to message it
+p private does not show in /list
+s similar to +p
+t need ops to change topic
